Hi I'm looking through this part of a bicycle frame, which has the geometry laid out on a separate sketch. Each feature has a 'On Edge' relation to the geometry sketch. Does anyone know how it's created? These sketches don't seem to be derived from the geometry sketch.

Hi all, Quite often I work with mold files from customers. After saving off the assembly as a part file I want to remove all appearance properties (a lot of these molds come in with every part a different colour - really hard to work with). It sometimes takes over an hour for the command to run. Any idea why?
This keeps happening somewhat at random, but the part I am currently working on becomes grayed out after saving. It almost resembles a .step file but it was created entirely in Solidworks 2020. I can still edit the part, but for some reason the defined black lines disappear. I attached a normal part to show the difference.
Hello, I'm looking for a certain SolidWorks built in feature. What I'm looking is a way to link an assembly's name into its part's file properties. So basically something similar to $PRP:"SW-File Name(File Name)" , but for the assembly the part is contained into. I assume this is not possible so this is a shot in the dark.
Hello. I am trying to model the attached image using Solidworks. I tried modeling with a sweep, but the path looks complicated and I can't draw it. Is there a way to model it like an image file, or is there a way to model that isn't the same, but can look similar?
I just came across solution S-076397 in the knowledge base which includes a ZIP file of configurable weldment profiles for the ANSI, AS, BSI, CISC, DIN, GB, ISO and JIS standards. Hello, I can't seem to figure out how to partially select the grey sketch area inside the hash marks shown on the part in the attached photo and then how to get it to cut up and out to the exterior surface line following the arrows in the photo. I have set my part template file to be Z-Up, however, when selecting "normal to" for the front plane on the feature manager, it flips the view 180 degrees compared to the front view in the orientation window/view-cube. Any ideas on how to rectify this?
Hi, I want both edges to come together at the point and I'm unsure if the variable chamfer using hold line is the right method. I feel as though a loft wouldn't look clean and thought a cut would be easiest, but I am clearly open to suggestions. Thanks in advance SolidworksParts And Features

Hello guys, attached is a file of my fuselage and the vertical stabilizer. When creating loft for the vertical stabilizer Solidworks is not recognizing it as one whole tangent surface. After creating the stabilizer with surface loft, there is a line dividing the tangent surface into two separate surfaces. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
I am attempting to create a chamfer as close to the first image as possible. I am attempting to utilize the partial edge parameters with the chamfer feature, but by utilizing this feature the chamfer no longer fades out. Is there a way to force the chamfer to fade out like it does before utilizing the partial edge parameter? SolidworksParts And Features
Hello, as you guys can see on the screenshot, no matter whether I choose one or the other section/sketch as the first input, whenever I validate the function swept, it leads to the end section/ellipse not aligned to the planned sketch... How to fix it please? (The thing is that plane 47 is actually YZ plane, but plane 44 is XZ plane slightly rotated around X...) Regards SolidworksParts And Features
I need to center an octagonal ring together with an internal spur gear and then join them together in a way that results in the octagonal ring being the outside of the gear.
